What’s been happening:

For more than 20 years now I have been directing adult education programs that serve English as a Second Language students from the world over. They have provided me with a wonderful perspective on the world as it is becoming in terms of diversity and global. Hopefully, these newcomers will decide to bring their culture and expertise to our region. Philadelphia is a more exciting place because of their being here and as an Adult Education provider, I do my best to have these students re-enter the academic communities, re-define their careers and re-think the opportunities that Philadelphia/Pennsylvania has to offer them. Many are returning to higher education programs and looking into green jobs and high priority fields. How lucky we are to have them!
